For their 2021 retail collections, the Australian Open (AO) wanted to offer two different directions in their pop-up retail store on-site. This was the Lifestyle Collection and Heritage Collection.
The Lifestyle collection needed to appeal to a broad range of AO guests from kids to men and women of all ages. The purpose of the collection was to offer a more casual range in their on-site retail store. In collaboration with the client, I designed retro inspired graphics that were fresh and colourful to capture attention and also wearable beyond the AO event.
The purpose of the Heritage Collection was to offer a more sporty and tennis inspired look for both men and women. It had to be premium, wearable, fresh, refined and inspired by AO colours. The collection featured colour blocking, a hint of stripes and distinct AO colours reminiscent of the tennis courts.
